Come learn about Cuba’s dramatic transition into agroecological and organic farming practices and the institutions that made this shift possible.

In this live webinar we will hear from headline presenter Roberto Pérez-Rivero, representative of the Cuban NGO, the Antonio Nuñez Jiménez Foundation for Nature and Humanity and featured in the internationally acclaimed film, The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil.

Roberto and other presenters will discuss food sovereignty in Cuba and how small farmers have transformed the Cuban food system through agroecology and national policies that prioritize organic farming and hunger remediation. There will be time at the end for Q&A.
