      Bon Secours St. Francis Health System Proudly PresentsCommunity Response to an International Crisis: A Seminar on Human Trafficking Human trafficking occurs in our town and every town—and a solution requires action from the entire community. Listen to nationally renowned experts in the fight against human trafficking share their stories, and see how you can be a part of our community’s response to this humanitarian crisis. This seminar is a multidisciplinary event open to all who seek to make our community and world a better place for God’s people. It is intended to educate and increase awareness of human trafficking, highlight the necessity of community collaboration, and give hope to those being victimized and exploited. The event is free of charge, but registration is required. Doors open at 7:00; seminar begins at 8:00 a.m. CME/CEU credit available Featured Speakers: John F. Clark –President and CEO, National Center for Missing & Exploited ChildrenPrior to joining the NCMEC, Mr. Clark served as the Director of the United States Marshals Service. Clark’s extensive law-enforcement background has uniquely prepared him to lead the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for child protection, whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. John C. Richmond - Ambassador-at-Large, Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in PersonsJohn Richmond serves as the Ambassador-at-Large to the U.S. Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. In October 2018, the Senate unanimously confirmed him and President Trump appointed him to lead the United States’ global engagement to combat human trafficking and support the coordination of anti-trafficking efforts across the U.S. government. Previously, Ambassador Richmond served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit, and co-founded the Human Trafficking Institute. Sr. Anne Victory, HM – Education Director, Collaborative to End Trafficking; President, US Catholic Sisters against Human TraffickingSr. Anne Victory began her healthcare ministry as a staff nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, where she worked as a clinician, a nurse educator at St. Joseph School of Practical Nursing, a nurse administrator, and as Director of Education and Vice President of Mission. She currently serves on the Board of Managers at Mercy Willard  where she uses her knowledge and experience to keep the mission and values of the organization present. W. Carson Felkel II, MD FAPA – Lead Physician for Behavioral Health, Bon Secours St. Francis Health SystemDr. Felkel is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and lead physician for behavioral health for Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. He is also the lead physician for the Bon Secours Behavioral Health team. In addition, Dr. Felkel serves as co-executive director of the Upstate Behavioral Health Provider Collaborative, bringing local health systems together to coordinate community-wide behavioral health issues.
