      EVENT DETAILS
      Delaware Politics 101

Over the past few years, many of us have been politically activated with a passion to create change from the bottom up. However, we may not have had the tools necessary to knowledgeably and effectively create change. Real change can only be realized and sustained by creating laws and ordinances that reflect the will of the people. If you moved to Delaware from another state, or have been too busy with your life, you may be not be familiar with who’s who and what’s what in Delaware state and county government. As change agents, we need to know how our regulatory systems functions and how we can interact with them. To acquaint you with this information, the Eastern Sussex Democratic Club and Women’s March Sussex will co-sponsor a presentation of Delaware Politics 101. This interactive discussion will provide a basic knowledge to understand Delaware’s local and state government structure and functions. This will be one of the last opportunities for Delaware Politics 101 before we move on to Delaware Politics 102 in the Fall 2019. So, if you haven’t had the chance and are interested in how local and Delaware state government functions and affects your daily life, reserve your spot for Delaware Politics 101 and be on the lookout for Delaware Politics 102 coming this Fall. There's a maximum of 60 seats to allow for interactive Q&A, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. For additional information, please email the Women's March Education Committee.
